Rogue Machine wanted to keep the concept from their original logo intact—"a gear in the machine going rogue." In the spirit of this, we evolved their original logo into a version that was tactile and playful, evoking retro dot-matrix printers and analogue techniques.
We developed a colorful, playful identity inspired by vintage dot-matrix printers and the subversive spirit of zine culture using analog techniques like stop motion, scanning, and a neon color palette. This brand identity evolved into a design system that still incorporates Rogue's trademark "gear" to frame visuals and key brand moments.
